• Account information: When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name, email address, and profile information (including via Google sign-in, if used).
• Listing and profile information: Startup details, job postings, founder profiles, logos, and organization emails you choose to submit.
• Payment information: If you purchase a subscription or Boost, payment processing is handled entirely by our payment processor, Dodo Payments. We do not store your card or payment details ourselves.
• Usage data: We collect basic analytics such as page views on startup profiles to help founders understand engagement with their listing.
• Location data: Startup addresses are geocoded (via Google Maps) to place pins on the map. We do not track visitors' personal location.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Operate and maintain the Service, including displaying startup listings on the map
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Verify organization email addresses via one-time codes sent through Resend
• Send transactional communications (e.g., sign-in security notices, payment confirmations)
• Show founders analytics about their own listing's views
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting for startup, job, and account data
• Dodo Payments — subscription and one-time payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g., email verification codes)
• Google Maps Platform — map display and address geocoding
• Vercel — website hosting

These providers may process data on servers located outside India as part of delivering their services to us.

5. Cookies

We use cookies set by our authentication provider (Clerk) to keep you signed in, and functional cookies necessary for the Service to work correctly. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and listing information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
