1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Startups Map (the "Service"), including our website, map-based startup directory, job board, and related features. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Startups Map is a directory platform that allows founders to list their startups on an interactive map, showcase company profiles, post job openings, and allows visitors to discover startups, browse jobs, and view founder profiles. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Accounts

You need an account to submit a startup, post jobs, or access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting content.

4. User-Submitted Content

When you submit a startup listing, job posting, founder profile, or any other content ("User Content"), you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate and not misleading. You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Startups Map a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Service.

We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any User Content at our discretion, including listings that are inaccurate, spam, fraudulent, or violate these Terms, without prior notice.

5. Paid Plans and Boosts

Startups Map offers optional paid subscription plans (Premium and Premium+) and one-time "Boost" payments to increase a listing's visibility. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Dodo Payments. By purchasing a subscription or Boost, you authorize the applicable charge.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent startup or job listings
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or unlawful content
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the security or functioning of the Service
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse data from the Service beyond normal browsing
• Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a startup

7. Intellectual Property

The Startups Map name, logo, design, and underlying software are owned by us and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission. User Content remains owned by its submitters as described in Section 4.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not verify the accuracy of startup listings, job postings, or founder profiles submitted by users, and we make no guarantee regarding the outcome of any application, investment, or business decision made based on information found on the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Startups Map and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any User Content.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
